EXPORTS. Per Wallabi, for Wellington—6 cases tallow, 2 kegs butter, Freeth and Greig. The s.s. John Penn, M. Carey, commander, left Dunedin on Sunday, the 19th instant, at 2 o'clock p.m., arrived at Lyttelton the following afternoon at 3 o'clock; sailed again at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and arrived at Wellington on Wednesday at 2 p.m., which port she left the same evening at 11 o'clock, arriving at Wanganui on Thursday evening, having been detained for several hours outside the bar by the tide. Discharged 25 tons of cargo, shipped a full deck cargo of live stock, and sailed for the West Coast on Friday, at 8 o'clock p.m., arriving outside the bar on Saturday evening and alongside the wharf early on Sunday morning. The Penn sailed for Hokitika and Greymouth last night. She will leave the latter port on Wednesday evening for Wanganui direct, returning to the West Coast with a cargo of stock, thence to the Manukau, via intermediate ports. The s.s. Wallabi sailed yesterday morning for Wellington after a stay of seven days in Westport, the delay having been occasioned by repairs rendered necessary previous to her leaving for the above port, where she will undergo a thorough repair. We understand the s.s. Wanganui wiil take her place temporarily in the West Coast trade. The s.s. Storm Bird has been purchased by Messrs Freeth and Greig. Her new owners take possession on the 11th proximo, and she "will "be forwarded with the loaafc posaiblo dolay to the West Coast with a cargo of stock. The Italy, said to be the largest merchant screw-steamer in the world, the Great Eastern excepted, was launched at Glasgow on April 2nd.
