The Lytlelton Times of May 28th gives the following stock report:—" The stock market has been very d'lll during the past week, partly in consequence of the wet weather. Very few sheep or cattle were passed through the yards, and nothing has boon done in tho auction sales to establish nny alteration in valuo. We quote wethers of good quality at 3Jd per lb, with a full supply. We have heard of one sale to a VVest Coast dealer of 800 sheep from a run in the Ashburtou district, at 7s. Store sheep are still inquired for, particularly la.ubs, which are worth 4s, at which price we have heard of several sales. Fat cattlo remain at last week's value, viz., 25s per lOolbs. Store cattle show no alteration."
