RESIDENT MAGISTRATE COURT.

(Before J. Giles Esq., E. M.) Weditesday, August 18. John Griinsley was charged with being drunk and exposing his person in Gladstone street on the 17th inst at 9 o'clock in the morning. This being the third charge of drunkenness within the past six months, the prisoner was sentenced to seven days imprisonment with hard labor for the first offence, and fined 20a or 48 hours imprisonment for the latter. Charles Costelle was charged with drunkenness. This being the third conviction within six months, the prisoner was sentenced to seven days imprisonment with hard labor.
