(From tiie CimrsTCinjitcii Papebs.) WELLINGTON", Aug. 3. A-uekland news is to the 30th ult. Te Kooti is reported to have stopped at Pukeraki. He is building a pah there. Wetero, and 300 men, are said to be marching to attack him there. Te lieu lieu and his tribo have left Te Kooti, and are with Tawahiao as his guests. The natives about Alexandra, reassured by To Kooti's departure, have gone back to their settlements. Ngatimatatuas were on the 29th on the road home to Waiuku. It is not true that Tawhiao's large house has been burned down. It is considered in Auckland that danger in the Waikato is over for the present. Three ounces of alluvial gold were brought to Wellington to-day from Terawiti, the produce of ten days' labor by two men. There is a prospect of the Upper Thames being opened. Great excitement has been created in Marlborough respecting annexation to Kelson and a public meeting has been held expressing the utmost aversion to the proposal. It has been resolved to use all constitutional means to oppose any re-union. (From t!ie Nelson Examiner.') August 10.
