PEOCLAMATION. By his Honor Oswald Cubtis, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Nelson, in the Islands of New Zealand, &c, &c, &c. »« Superintendent and Provincial Council of the Province of Nelson, in Session X, No. 5, intituled, "An Act to provide for the abatement of the Dog Nuisance," it is enacted that the said Act sball come into operation within certain Districts, and in such other Districts as shall be proclaimed by the Superintendent in the Oovernmerit Gazette for the Province, upon the request of a majority of the residents electors in such Districts : Now, therefore, I, the said Superintendent, at the request of a majority of the resident Electors of the Town of Westport, do hereby proclaim and declare that the said Act shall come into operation, within a radius of two miles from the Court-House, in the said Town of Westport, on and after the First day of July next. Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province at Nelson, this Pifth day of April, One thousand and sixty-nine. OSWALD CURTIS Superintendent
