Per Murray, from Nelson—4 cows, 2 calves, order; 1 horse, 20 bales hay, 20 bales chaff, M'Dowell; 15 bags potatoes, 2 bags peas, 2 cases eggs, 4 kegs butter, 1 case fowls, Presticge ; 5 cases eggs, 7 casks butter, Alcorn ; 1 case eggs, 2 do fruit, Hay ; 1 case eggs, 1 do gooseberries, 24 bag potatoes, 5 do onions, 5 do J eggs, order. The Murray arrived from Nelson yesterday' morning, and in the afternoon, after discharging her Westport cargo, sailed for Grey-' mouth. The ;utter Volunteer, wliieh was lately launched at Mohikinui, returned to this port yesterday with a cargo of coal from Greymouth, consigned to Messrs Alcorn and Co. The Challenger sailed from Sydney for New Zealand on the 23rd December. Scarlet fever has broken out amongst the boys on board the training-ships Nelson and Deborah, at Melbourne. The Melbourne Argus of December 11 states that no less Ihin 39 vessels were reported as having passed through Port Phillip Heads, outward buund, the day before.
