Smyth & Co.'s, on or before Christmas Eve, with the name of the Horses, and colors of the riders. No entry will be entertained unless under seal, and • enclosing Entrance Fee. Five per cent will be deducted from the amount of the prize from the winning horse. THIED DAY. Ist race. Trotting Match of £2O, three miles. Catch weights. Entry £2. 2nd race. Miners' Purse of £ls, for all horses regularly worked in claims or drays on the South-West Goldfields for three months previous to the races. Heats. One mile. Entrance £l. 3th Eace. Consolation Stakes (handicap) of 20 sovs.—£ls first horse, £5 second—for all horses beaten at the meeting. One mile and a half. Post entry of 1 sov.
