THE GREYMOUTH ELECTION.
{BY ELECTRIQ TELEGRAPH.) (from our own correspondent.) Greymouth, Thursday. The polling for the election of members for Greymouth in the County Council took place to-day. Mr Comisky had previously retired from the contest, which lay, therefore, between, Messrs Harrison, Lahman, and Wickes. There was active canvassing for all parties, and the following was the result of the poll:—Eor Mr Harrison, 112 votes; for Mr Lahman, 111; for Mr Wickes, 64. The two first-mentioned have, therefore, been returned.
