CHRISTMAS SPORTS AND RACES. (TiHE PROPRIETOR OF THE GRAND STAND would wish to draw the attention of of the public to the many advantages and conveniences offered by him on the four days of the SPORTS and RACES. The central position of the Grand Stand, affording a PULL VIEW of the SPORTS and the HORSE RACING, is a matter of such benefit to all holiday-seekers that no expense will be spared to make the GRAND STAND the Centre of Attraction, Comfort, and Enjoyment. The Stand will be constructed in every way secure and A Powerful INSTRUMENTAL BAND has been secured, and will leave the Nelson Hotel daily by special coach at 10 o'clock.

The REFRESHMENT ROOM in connection with the Grand Stand will receive the most careful attention. A Committee Roorn, for the special use of the Memhers of Committee, and for receiving Entries, Deciding Events, &c, is also in course of erection. SEASON FRONT SEAT TICKETS, for the four days, may be obtained at the Nelson Hotel—Price, 12s 6d. Day Tickets—Front Seats ... 5s Od Do. Back Seats ... 2s 6d N.B. Special arrangements for ereat novel attractions on the Evenings of the Christmas Week at the Nelson Hotel are now being concluded, and will be shortly announced. T. SIIEAHAN, Proprietor.
