The roughness of the weather v/ould prevent her entering Charleston, for ■which port she has a quantity of cargo on board. The s.s. Kennedy arrived at ten last evening. She left Nelson at 9 p.m. on Saturday, hut was, during all Sunday, under shelter of Farewell Spit. The new steamer Eob "Roy is telegraphed aj having arrived at Wellington. Her destitution is not stated.
