The ketch Constant is advertised to sail today for Charleston. Her last trip thither -was a most, expeditions one. The voyage to and from Westport only occupied sixteen hours, including the time occupied in discharging cargo at Charleston, and detention of three hours at the Steeples. While lying there the crew succeeded in killing two seals, whose valuable skins are now being preserved by Mr F. P. Atkinson. Telegrams from Wellington state that the schooner Crest of the Wave, which reeently left Greymouth for Picton, is reported to be ilost.
