Per John Penn —Saloon, Messrs A dyer, Castles, Towell, Dodson, Burrill, Will, ..Ejrwan, Moller, Gallagher Bain, Arenas, Mra Thorpe -and servant, Mrs Flet, cher, Mrs Carey, servant, and two children ; seven for the south—3s in- steerage.

The schooner, Ceres, was got off the North 'Spit yesterday morning, and was taken over :to the La,goon where she now lies. She will 'he able to undergo any repairs necessary ■whilst there, sufficient at least to enable her :to proceed to some other port. The p.s., Lioness, came in with yesterday morning's tide, and had been on the look out for the schooner, Northern Light, from Melbourne, in order to tow her into port. The s.s., John Penn, M. Carey, commander, left Onehunga, on Saturday the 24th instant, .arrived at Wanganui at midnight on Sunday, sailed again on Monday at six p.m., and arrived in Nelson on Wednesday. Sailed for this port yesterday at 8 o'clock p.m., and ; arrived off the Buller bar at 3 p.m. She experienced fine weather during her voyage.
