A serious riot occurred at Hampton, Virginia, on Saturday last nearly 400 negroes rioted thsough the streets armed with bricks aud stones,

and several white persons were severely handled.

The negroes in Georgian Legislature have been declared ineligible to membership and denied seats under this decision.
