Per Nelson, for Nelson—l box gold, 1000 -088, Union Bank. Per Charles Edward, for Manakau—7 cases •drapery, Brown and Lissner ; 1 billiard tabic, Mahoney. The Charles Edward left at noon yesterday, for Manakau, with a number of passengers. The John Penn s.s., left Nelson on the Bth inst, at eleven p.m., arrived at Onehunga at eleven a.m. on Tuesday the 10th inst; sailed again on Friday at four p.m., and arrived at ■Nelson at midnight on the 12th inst. She was to have left Nelson for Westport with a cargo of bullocks, &c., on Wednesday evening the 16th inst, and may be expected here today. The p.s. Southland, Captain Kirkpatrick, bo well known in the Buller, has been purchased from Messrs Spence Brothers and Co. by a Newcastle firm, for £9OOO ; Captain Kirkpatrick is on his way to Westport, and intends taking the Lioness to Melbourne on his arrival.
