Westport Times Office, Monday Evening. The amount of duty collected at the Custom House this day, was £63 Is lOd. The amount of duty received tor the week ending Saturday the sth inst., was £1312 2s lod, of which £463 5s lOd was duty on 3744 ozs of gold exported by the Bank of New Zealand.
Trade has been dull during tlie past week. Large arrivals of produce are to hand per Waterman, from Melbourne. Adelaide flour (Llarts) may be quoted at £27. Provincial at £23 los ; oats per bushel, retail, 4s 6d ; chaff, retail, £lB per ton. Brandy 8s 6d per gallon in bond ; Hennessy's, 33s per case, in bond ; Geneva, 19s in bond. Potatoes same as last weeks' quotations. Arrivals of live stock are to hand per John Penn and Wallabi. Meat remains unaltered since last week We have had no sales by auction during the week, the demand for all kinds of produce is limited, and the markets are well supplied
