Edwards and Co. The s.s. Kennedy, left Nelson on Friday at half-past eleven a.m., and experienced strong north west winds until abreast of Rock's Point. The wind then shifted to the south west, and blew hard ; at eight.a m. on Saturday morning, came abreast of the White Blutfs, wind increasing to a gale, had to run back to West Wangariui for shelter; took in six tons of coal, and left at two p.m. on Monday, experienced strong south west winds on pissage down ; arrived oil'the Puller bar at 3 a.m. on Tuesday morning, and came up to the Government Wharf at 3.30 am. She brings some catth'iind sheep besides a general cargo, and reports the schooner Necromancer, at West Wangariui, bound for Westport with coal from.Wan'ganui ; also, the schooner Mount TVPLareri, from Fieton, with timber, for West port.
