General Corona had left Mazatlan with 3000 men for Durango, where the forces will be increased to 12,000 men, when he will march against insurgents further east. Advices from Lower California are discouraging. G-overnment refused to allow shipment of silver bars, unless 6 per cent duty be added to charges heretofore paid. Mining companies have determined to leave works, thua virtually suspending all business. Several severe shocks of earthquake were felt at Cape St. Lucas on June 21. A correspondent gives details of a plan of annexation of Northern States of Mexico to the United States, in which the Governments of England, France and United States are concerned. All holders of claims against Mexico, of whatever natiooality, are to be satisfied. The only hope of their payment lies in the United States and interference and assumption by our Government of all the just indebtedness of Mexico in consideration of transfer of the United Sfcatcl by Mexico of her northern tier of States. Grpat conflicts of opinion as to which party is most to blame in AngloMexican d'lfieulty, mentioned in yesterday's telegrams. Colonel Juclan, who had command of Imperial police at execution of General Nicola Romeros has been sentenced to death, but has filed a petition for pardon. The execution of Eomero was for crimes committed on French soldiers, and was ordered by a French courtmartial on the 18th. General Bscobedo has taken to the field to rout the Santa Anna rebels in Sierra Gorda. General Corona is reported to have come to Sonora. Exequaturs have been granted to Mr Elmens as American Consul at La Plaz, Lower California, and to Mr Kennedy ; Consul at Jalapa, State of Vera Cruz, in S ate of Jalisco.
The famous Colonel Chavez has prouop iced in favor of Santa Anna, and ibe authorities has given him seven hv nd -ed guns. G-eaeral Martinez, of Sinaloa, ia a,gain in war path. He has captured the town of Fuerte Loanano. Proposition of Edward Stephenson to Governor of States of Mexico for construction of Uio Grande Pacific and Mexico city railways has been favorably received. The crops of the country are a total failure. U. S. Consul at Victoria reports the total loss of the American schooner Growler, on rocks at head of Yancouvers Island. 13 lives and 35,000 dols cargo lost.
