Seventy-eight men enlisted in Wellington left here in the Sturt this afternoon for Wanganui, under command of Captain Page, Lieutenant Iseherwood, and Captain Hastings!, to join Colonel M'Donnell. The full force will be made up to 400, by men from the East Coast and Wanganui. Colonel M'Donnell will make a four month's raid against the rebels. The fighting is likely to be severe. Colonel M'Donnell has carte blanche.
