PORT OK W i'ISTI'OJIT. Hid IF. WJTKIL This Day ... 12.80 a.m., 12.54 p.jr\ AIIHLVAbS. Nil. .IK^'YUTUUKS. June 23 -WulJaßi, s.s., for thoManukau. Dart, cutter, for Charleston. kxim:c:t::i) Anitn r .\.i,s. Nightingale, from Melbourne. Nelson, from Greymouth. Kennedy, (Voin Nelson. v:i'>;sk;,s ix port. JJphdoners—Adit (on tlio spit). Young America, *.':'i,.-a Brcezo, Enterprise. Cuttor—Cliarlotto. Sfcoam or—Lioness. The schooner Ada has, i n nil probability, sailed her last milo, for she is now bilged, and her repairs would cost, more than she is worth. She remains on the South Spit, but will, we should suppose, be shortly broken up by her owners before the tides do the work for them, and carry her fragments out to sen. The ketch Enterprise, that got ashore in vory nearly the exact same place, and subsequent to Uw Ada's misfortune, has been got off and is safe in the lagoon undergoing tho few necessary repairs needed. Had the same activity been shown in the schooner's ease she might have been afloat some time ago. Our port presents a-mosfc bare appearance, only the Lioness representing the'steamer interest, and nothing but small craft rcmaining in harbor. The Kennedy may be expected to-day from Nelson, and the Nelson should show up from Greyroouth this morning. The Charles Edward and Murray having gone to Hokitnkre wo cannot expect them back till tomorrow night at earliest, or most probably a day later than that. Thero is some doubt: as to whether the John I enn h.as gono on to the Manakau, or whether she transhipped her passengers into one of the larger boats going north from Nelson. bhonld she have adopted the latter course she may be looked for to-tlav. At the same time the probability is that she has taken in cattle as well as passengers and proceeded north. The Wallabi took away to the north about, idly passengers altogether, of which numbor sixteen were brought up from the south. She will return via Wauganui, and it is noWmprobable that before coming to Westport she will make another trip from there to the Manakau with a load of cattle.
