PH(ENIX BREWERY, Lately occupied by Messrs Sperrs & Clarke. rpHOMAS D¥AN & CO., Instructed by the Mortgagee, will sell by Public Auction on the premises, in •the Town of Charleston, that very extensive and valuable property the PH(ENIX BREWERY, MACHINERY, UTENSILS and STOCK IN-TRADE:—
THE BREWERY Consists of one large building about 150 ft. long by 50ft. wide, witb Cooler up-stairs, the lower story has four rows of Stillings, capable of cleansing sixty hhds. of Ale at a time, with an attached Iron Boiler well set in fire bricks and Iron work with Corkscrew flue to Stack. THE MACHINERY and UTENSILS Consist of one Richmond & Chandler's Malt Mill on an improved principle capable of crushing 30 bushels of malt per hour. One 1000 gallons Mash Tub. One 1500 gallon Gyletun. One 1503 gallon Underback. One 2000 gallon Cooler made of American clear plate. One 1000 gallon Iron Boiler i-inch plate. 2 Thermometers, 1 |Saccharometer, 3 No. 5 Douglas's Pumps in good order, 300 empty Casks of all sizes with all the smaller articles of use in the trade and capable of carrying on brewing on an extensive scale, together with the balance of the Stock, consisting of 20 hhds. of Ale, 2 bales of Hops, with a lot of Sugar and Malt. ALSO. •J-Share in the Coal mine in the rear of the Brewery, formerly owned by Mr Mann, and now supplying the town with fuel.
Immediately after the Sale of the above will be sold the House heretofore known as ME. ALCOEN'S STOEE in Princes Street, and now occupied by Mr Ellis. The shop known as CHEISTENSON'S JEWELLEET SHOP and right to section on which it stands in Princess Street, and next the Bank of New South Wales.
