Westport Times Office, Saturday Evening. The same dullness that prevailed at the close of last week, lias characterised this one but there is some appearance of a reaction for the better, as late political differences are toning down, and -work on the diggings has been fairly resumed. Though the Nightingale has arrived her cargo is not to hand, and the maintenance of present rates will materially depend on its disposal. The Queensland rush is completely at an end, and in a short time we may expect many to return, and business generally to become more brisk.
