ISSUE OP THE WESTPORT TIMES. "We beg to inform our readers that tomorrow morning (Good Friday,) we shall issue the usual morning paper, there will be no issue on Saturday morning, but the paper will appear as usual on the following Monday. Resident Magistrate's Court.— In consequence of the absence of the Resident Magistrate (Dr Giles) who held a Court at Addison's Flat yesterday, no cases were heard in Westport. Polling Day.—We remind our readers that to-day is the appointed day for polling for a member to represent the district of Westland North in the General Assembly. We stronglv advise all who intend voting to poll early, as the matter is of vast importance to their future interests, Service at the Coubt House on Good Friday.—Divine service will be held at the Court House on Good Friday morning at 11 a.m., and evening service with sermon will be held at 7 p.m. Assembly Eooms.—Messrs Anderson and Ryan who have so long catered for the public amusement of Westport, advertise a selected programme of singing and dancing, and a pleasing Vaudeville for this evening. We hope these talented gentlemen may be supported as they deserve, and we heartily wish them a full house. Election.—We are informed that Barff is returned to the Assembly at Hokitika, but as the Kennedy brought no papers, and the returns are not all in, we are not able to give the details.
