The steamer Murray, with her original cargo, from Nelson, and a few original and other passengers, sailed to-day for Grcyniouth direct.
The paddle steamer, Nelson, so long commanded by Captain Whitwell, who takes on the Kennedy, owing to the acceptance by Captain Carey, of the mastership of the John Penn, left port yesterday with part of her original cargo on board, for Fox's and Hokitika direct, and under the charge of her new commander, Captain Dillon. The Waipara, under command of Captain Baseand, loTt port at noon yesterday, for Charleston, Fox's, Greynvrath, and Ilokitika, with a small general cargo from this port, and a few pasrengers. The arrival of each boat here is now anxiously looked for, and papers containing any fres news are eagerly caught up. The ketch, Young America, .built and launched in this port, (being the largest ever finished here) nor.' lying in the Lagoon, is laid on for Mokihinui. The present will therefore be a chance for shippers, which cannot occur again for some time.
