The screw-steamer AVuipara arrived in port on Saturday at 2 p.m., with two saloon and a few steerage passengers. She brought Hokitika news to the 27th hist. The screw-steamer Murray left Nelson at II a.m., on Friday, and after a prolonged run down, during which she experienced very rough weather, crossed the bar at 11 p.m. on Saturday. She brings nine saloon and steerage passengers, and a general cargo for this port and Chvymouth, for which \ ort she will sail to-day. The Wallaby steamship having gone on direct to llokitika and Greymouth from Wanganui with a cargo of cattle, put in here to dispose of her residue of 17 head and 100 sheep. She discharged here at the South Spit on Sunday, and left for Wanganui direct this morning at 2 o'clock. The paddle-steamer Nelson, in charge of •Capt. Dillon, who is so well known as having long held the post of chief officer in her, came into port last night at 12 p.m., after a run of 2G hours. She has on board a general cargo, and 2b' head of cattle and 50 sheep.
