GENTLEMEN— The Writ having been issued for the Election of a Member for North Westland in the General Assembly, I take the earliest opportunity of declaring my intention to solicit your suffrages. It is in the General Assembly the Goldfields need the advocacy of their claims to those considerations necessary to their ad w vancement, and this alone can come from parties intimately acquainted with their wants.
