"WEsroRT Times Office, January 14. The amount of Custom's revenue received this day for import duties was £3l ss. The fresh in the river has put an entire stoppage to traffic over the bar either in or out, and across the river, so that there has been a great dullness in every species of commercial transaction, and storekeepers and merchants have had little to do, except to con over their books and wait for the river to go down and trade to go up.
