The Rome correspondent of “The Times” states that it is believed Italy will shortly notify her intention of quitting the League of Nations, as the result of pressure from Germany, which is anxious that Italy should be on a common footing with her if and when reform of the Covenant is discussed. WITHDRAWAL SEEMS CERTAIN. DESPITE OFFICIAL DENIAL. (Received Friday, 10.30 a.m.) ROME, Thursday.
