EMPIRE GAMES
ENGLISH TEAMS. - LONDON, Tuesday. The Amateur Boxing Association has decided to send a full English team to the Empire Games at Sydney. Scotland will send a flyweight and a bantamweight and Wales a middleweight. Owing to the enthusiasm of Sir James Leichwood, chairman of the Empire Games Committee, who is visiting Australia in connection with the sesquicentenary celebrations, there is every hope of a representative English eight participating in the Empire Games regatta.
