THE SPRINGBOKS

FINAL MATCH.

HEAVY GROUND; WHANGAREI, This Day. For the concluding match of their tour the Springboks are to experience the heaviest ground. The weather conditions are equalled only by the rain in which the Hamilton game was played. The heavy rain this morning will make the ground slippery and in places boggy. Mr de Villiers, the manager, Nel and Boy Louw yesterday visited Douglas Redwood, a primary school who is in hospital, and insisted that-he sit with the Springboks to watch the game this afternoon. —(P.A.)
