TEST MATCH SCORE.
(The Editor.) Sir, —The replies to my enquiry re the test scores competition being divided in opinion, I would like you to give a decision. I have since heard that a certain Ntew Zealand weekly paper rather favours the 17/5 guess, in the principle of being right with the winner’s score. Mathematically, the 16/6 score seems nearer, but if custom favours a certain guess, then it may be wise to conform to it. —I am, etc., J. BRADBURY. (Declined with thanks. —Ed. W.D.T.)
