DUEL IN HUNGARY
LASTED 2-h HOURS. (Received Tuesday, 9.50 a.m.) BUDAPEST, Monday. What is believed to be the longest duel in history was fought by ChiefEngineer Zboropjaj and Dr. Prueler, a fencing expert. The duel lasted 21 hours. The combatants used light cavalry sabres. Both were wounded early in the combat and again in the twelfth round, when the seconds wanted to stop the fight, which continued until the 51st round, when it was declared ended, owing to exhaustion of the duellists. The duel originated over an argument at a meeting.
