HOPES OF BROADCAST. (Received Wednesday, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, Tuesday. The hopes of television broadcasts of the Test matches have been brought nearer by the British Broadcasting Corporation’s achievement, in bringing to Fleet Street golf lessons given by Archie Compston from a miniature course at the television station at Alexandra Palace. The scenes were depicted clearly on the Fleet Street receivers; even the sound of the impact of the club on the ball was perfect. Coronation project. (Received Wednesday, 12.45 p.m.) i : ‘ jjutfDON, Tuesday. The'“Telegraph” says the Broadcasting Corporation is • planning to televise the whole coronation procession, by means of a £20,000 television van. It is awaiting official sanction to televise the ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
