DAMAGES AWARDED
HOSPITAL PATIENT INJURED.
. CHRISTCHURCH, Tuesday. Damages amounting to £l6O were awarded by Mr F. F, Reid, S.M., to Mrs Caroline Thomas, who sought £3OO from the North Canterbury Hospital Board. She claimed that when, she was a patient, in. the Christchurch Hospital she_ was badly burned through a hot water bottle being placed on her thigh while she was unconscious. The board had paid £IOO into court, r—(P.A.)
