MILK ROUNDSMEN

DISPUTE SETTLED. AUCKLAND, Friday. An agreement between the parties in the milk roundsmen’s dispute has been reported to the Arbitration Court by the employees’ representative. The ease came before the court on Tuesday, when a basis for a subsequent agreement was reached.

The main features of the agreement were as follows: —Starting time of work, 2.30 a.m.; weekly wage of £4 16s; 10-day fortnight of 80 hours and elimination of commission. The court will make an award on the terms agreed upon.—(P.A.)
