GORDON RENNET RACE
BALLOONS MISSING. WARSAW, Thursday. Six balloons —three Polish, two German and one Belgian—which started.in the Gordon Benentt race on Sunday are missing.
All ten starters drifted towards Russia, and only four are reported as having landed. None was capable of remaining in the air for more than 70 hours.
The competitor who goes furthest in the race wins a cup and £2BO.
