EX-GERMAN COLONIES

RETURN DEMANDED.

BY GERMAN GENERAL. (Received Friday, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, Thursday. General Ritter von Epp, head of the recently-formed Reich Colonial League, in an article in the “ Europaisehe Revue, ’ ’ demands the unconditional return of the ex-German colonies, adding that the time will certainly come when the colonial injustice committed by Article 119 of the Versailles Treaty will' be made good to Germany. The colonial guilt lie which cloaked the seizure of the colonies has already been recognised as such by authoritative persons in foreign countries, notably General Hertzog, who explicitly withdrew his accusation that Germany was incapable of colonising. The removal of the injustice would put Germany in a position gradually to abolish the remainder of the unemployment.
