Brown reports as follows for the 24 hours ended 9 a.m. Barograpli, 29.57; shade temperature* maximum 51.6, minimum 30.4; terrestrial, 22.8; sunshine, 4 hours 33 minutes; rain, 28 points; frost, 7.6 degrees. Mr H. M. Boddington reports that 21 points of rain fell at Solway, during the. 24 hours ended 9 a.m. to-day. TO-DAY’S FORECAST. The indications are for strong west to south-west winds of gale force in places. Mainly there is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather but still changeable with occasional showers. The barometer is unsteady.
