TWO MEN DROWNED

MOTOR TRAGEDY. ? ' AUCKLAND, Sunday. Two men were drowned in a motor accident at Waingaro, 16 miles west of Ngaruawahia, early this morning. The victims were John Stevens, a widower, aged 62, and William Cole, a single man, aged 26. Both were miners of Glen Afton. They were passengers in a car which left the road and fell into a stream. The bodies have not been recovered. Two other occupants of the car scrambled ashore. —(P.A.)
