It is his intention shortly to holiday.

Cavanagh, of Ilamua, was the scene of a jolly function recently to celebrate their silver wedding, when over sixty relatives and friends from all parts of the North Island gathered to honour the happy couple. A sumptuous wedding breiiikfast had been provided by their daughter, Hey, while pride of place was given the wedding cake in silver and white. After the usual toasts, Mr Cavanagh acknowledged the kindly thoughts and good wishes, and spoke feelingly of the honour that had been done him and his wife. “Auld Lang Syne” brought the jolly evening to a close.
