WOOL MARKET
AUSTRALIAN SALES. JAPANESE DECISION. TOKIO, Thursday. It is reported that the Ministry of Commcrco and Industry and wool interests have jointly decided not to send buyers to the new season’s auctions in Australia as lias hitherto been customary. During recent weeks big firms have been sending numerous buyers to South America and South Africa.
Mr Amau, the Foreign Office spokesman, amplying yesterday’s statement of tho Government’s attitude, said: “Wo aro not interested either in Australian politics or wool sales.”
