INTOXICATED MOTORIST

WELLINGTON, Monday,
Convicted of having been intoxicated while in charge of a motor car, Harry Hall-Kenny, clerk, was fined £ls and costs, in default six months’ imprisonment with hard labour. His driving license was cancelled, and he was prohibited from obtaining another for 12 months. His conviction was. ordered to be endorsed on his license. The case was heard by Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court, Wellington, to-day.—(P.A.)
