MISSIONARY AUXILIARY. ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the- Women’s Missionary Auxiliary of the Masterton Methodist Church was held at the Methodist Parsonage, Mrs G. F. Stockwell presiding over a good attendance of members, including a deputation from Eketahuna.

Items were given by Miss E. Jones, vocal solo, “My Heart is a Silent Violin”; Miss E. Beale, violin solo, “Cavitina” and by Miss Ivy Donald, recitation, “Cuddle Doom” Votes- of thanks were passed to the president (Mrs Stockwell), the Press, the hostesses, Mesdames Cocker, Jansen, White and Jamieson; Miss Carter, a retiring officer; Mrs Beale, the box organiser, secretary and treasurer and the performers. It was 'announced that a Men’s Fellowship tea would be held on the occasion of the visit of the Home Mission deputation. The annual report stated that the membership roll totalled 35. Four sackfuls of left-over clothing had been sent to the Homo Mission Field and two boxes of goods to the Solomon Islands. The income for the year was £37/14/10. The auxiliary was represented at the annual conference and several interesting addresses were given, by visitors and others during the year. The annual garden party raised a sum of £lB, £ls of which was donated by the Ladies’ Guild to the Auxiliary’s funds.
