WOMEN’S FREEDOM
PETITION TO KING. (Received Saturday, 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, Friday. The Women’s Freedom League’s petition, containing 3000 signatures of women of Britain, the Dominions, Bermuda and Ceylon, will be presented to the King, through the Home Office, tomorrow, praying His Majesty to ask the respective Governments to adopt uniform legislation giving married women independent nationality in their own persons, similar to men and single women.
