ROTARY CLUB

WEEKLY LUNCHEON. The president, Mr F. E. Wells, presided over a good attendance of members at the Aveekly luncheon of the Masterton Rotary Club yesterday. The Rev. G. F. StockAvell and Mr D. P. Sheppard, the latter being the speaker for the day, Avere visitors. Mr Sheppard’s address, in Avhicli he touched upon seed's, manure and other aspects of agricultural farming, Avas folloAved Avith keen interested. He Avas accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The club extended its congratulations to Mr A. H. W. Evenden on liis promotion to a position at Taumarunui. Regret Avas expressed that the club Avas losing him as a member. Members wore reminded that the annual meeting Avould be held on 4th July.
