DRUIDS’ LODGE

FORTNIGHTLY MEETING. The fortnightly meeting of the Druids’ Lodge was held in the Foresters’ Hall last night, the A.D., Bro. A. Newman, presiding over a good attendance of members. An invitation was received from the Pahiatua Lodge to be present at a lodge function on 18th June. Bro. J. Buckton reported on the U.F.S. card tournament and staled that the Druids had had two wins. The District President, Bro. F. G. Clark, reported on visiting Totara and Fernleaf lodges, stating that he had had an enjoyable time.

Ten brethren were declared on the sick benefit of the lodge and all were reported to be progressing favourably. Bro. G. Milne reported on a recent meeting of the Hospital Association. Sick pay and accounts amounting to £25/16/10 were passed.
