PALMERSTON NORTH, This Day. At tlie annual, meeting of the Manawatu Provincial Executive of the Farmers’ Union, members lengthily discussed the activities of tlio president, Mr W., J. Poison, in addressing meetings in various parts of the country, in.opposition to the Government’s policy. Finally there was carried the following resolution: —“That the Manawatu executive dissociates itself entirelyfrom the views expressed, by the Dominion president of the Farmers ’ Union during his tour of the provinces.” — (P.A.)
