POISONED CHOCOLATES

THE BLACKBALL TRAGEDY. MAN CHARGED WITH MURDER. WELLINGTON, Friday. Tho inquest into the circumstances of tho death of Margaret May Smith, who died at Blackball on 24th September, 1934, as a result of eating poisoned chocolates, which had been posted to her, will be resumed at the Greymouth; Courthouse at 2.15 p.m. on Monday, 29th July. Simultaneously with tho inquest a man will be charged with the' murder of Miss Smith, and also two charges of attempted murder of Miss Ethel Bragg and Miss Jean Clark, both of Blackball, will bo made. About 60 witnesses will bo called, from as far north as Auckland and as far south as Otago. The hearing is expected to last from four to five, day's. -(P.A.)
