During the past Avinter at Home handsome fur coats and exquisite furs were much in evidence. The -nonularity of the fur coat even extends to bridge Avear for which white fur coatees are favoured. As this fashion for fur coats is likely to find reflection in New Zealand this •winter Hugo and Shearer’s have arranged an early display of fur coats and furs. They have secured an excellent* selection of lovely fur coats ranging from 16 to 89 guineas. The furs embrace real seal, Northern and dyed Musquash, black sealine, carocil, etc, and particularly fine quality skins have been used for most of the coats. Very choice too are the stoles and necklets in silver fox, stone marten, dyed squirrel, skunk, fitch, sable oppossum, etc. The display commences to-day and ■will continue for eight days. In addition to tho furs shoAvn in the large AvindoAV a further selection can be seen in tlie Showroom.
