FIRE-PROOF PAINT

TEST ON NEW CUNARDER. LONDON, Friday. Tim fire-resisting qualities of the new Ounarder, Queen Mary, were put to a dramatic test when a passenger cabin, fully fitted out, but coated with fire-proof paint, ,was drenched with 20 gallons of petrol and a light applied. The petrol blazed furiously, but a slight scorching of the walls was the only damage. It is believed that the Queen Manwill be not only the biggest and fastest, but the safest vessel afloat.
