RAM FAIR
SOLWAY PRICES. The high level of values recorded on tlie opening day of the Masterton A. and P. Association’s annual ram fair at Solway was well maintained yesterday afternoon'. Prices generally were far in advance of those realised last year. Good quality stud Southdowns met with a keen sale, and the prices realised wore very satisfactory. The average for the 21 rams sold at auction was 17 gns. The top price was 40gns., paid by Mr P. D. McLachlan, of Masterton, for a fine animal sold on behalf of Mr H. J. Andrew.
